About Us
Raja Rammohan Roy Academy, established in 1950 as ShishuNiketan in Mussoorie, began as a preparatory boarding school. Managed by the Society for the Advancement of Education (SAE), it expanded rapidly, moving its Senior Wing to Clement Town in 1960, followed by the Junior Wing in 1965. By 1978, it was renamed Raja Rammohan Roy Academy and has since become a leading educational institution, focusing on holistic student development and equipping them for the technological challenges of the 21st century. The school’s motto, “We Learn to Serve,” highlights its emphasis on service and moral action.
