Hotel Evelyn is one of Nainital 's oldest hotels, and has a long hospitality past. Long before the town was a sanctuary for city-weary souls it welcomed tourists and saw a flourishing hotel industry. Mrs Page, a British lady, ran a guesthouse of the same name before 1947, where the hotel stands today. It has been owned and operated by Mr S.L Sah 's family since the Indian Independence.It was the power and dynamism of his will that transformed a small guesthouse into a 60 room hotel. Today the hotel offers guests the height of comfort and convenience.
