It's a religious location, called the Garjia Mandir local tongue sanctuary. In Garjiya, at 12 km from Ram Nagar on Dhikalas Road, is the Girija Devi Temple. It is a sacred Shakti sanctuary, where the leading deity is Garjiya Devi. Built on rocks in the center of the stream, this shrine was toured by thousands of visitors on the fifteenth rainy day of Kartik Poornima, the Hindu festival day. It is also called the signs of the gods festival. During the excavation here the idols of this temple were discovered.
