The Kali Bari Temple was established 155 years ago by the Bengali speakers. This is one of the oldest Kali temple you can find in Lucknow. A huge crowd can be seen here the Navaratri to give the offerings to the Goddess Kali, the tradition of live sacrifice is practiced here every year on Navami for a long time, the people you don't believe in live sacrificing can take five fruits and sacrifice them in the kund made in front of the Maha Kali .
