About Us
Saint Claret College in Bengaluru, India, is a Catholic undergraduate institution established by the Claretian Missionaries of the Province of Bangalore, a congregation of Catholic priests and brothers. Founded in 2005, SCC is permanently affiliated to Bangalore University, India. SCC's Placement and Career Guidance Cell assists students to explore employment opportunities and new career avenues. A full-time officer supervises the training and placement programs in the campus. The Cell helps in the professional development of the students by training them towards employability skills such as resume building, group discussion, and interview skills which in turn helps the students to move into a desired profession. A good portion of the training is carried out by experts from industries and the corporate world. Campus recruitments are organized throughout the year. The selection process generally begins with the pre-placement talk by the human resources of the firm or organization providing the students with insights into the company profile, job profile, and career path. The talk is followed by the actual selection process, i.e. written test, group discussion and interviews. SCC's graduates are placed in companies like HP, WIPRO, Infosys, TCS, Accenture, Cognizant, IBM, Mindtree, ORACLE, Mphasis, Tech Mahindra and HCL Technologies.
