About Us
St. Cecilia’s Public School was established in 1978 as an English medium, Co- educational School. Founded by the Hemkund Educational Society, a Sikh religious and linguistic minority committee with the sole purpose of imparting quality education to its students for integrated personality development based on life skills and value systems. It has successfully accomplished its mission. The school has completed about 40 years of dedicated service to the society and continues to do so with renewed strengths. The school is recognized by the Directorate of Education, Govt. of Delhi as an unaided, minority school and is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The school is open to students of all religions and socio-economic backgrounds without any distinction or discrimination of caste, creed or community. The huge campus is situated in a lush green environment. The four storey building has a unique architectural design, state of the art furniture, spacious and airy class rooms, elegant reception hall, a large stage and a play ground. The school has well equipped Laboratories, Language Lab, rooms for Creative Activities such as art, painting, music, dance etc. along with Computer Centres, Audio Visual Room, workshop, Library, Medical Room. I.T. Resource Centre, Meeting Halls,Conference Room etc.
