About Us
The more touristy side of Goa begins from Calangute beach onwards. Compared to quite a few other places the experience at Curlies Anjuna is very different and mesmerizing. It is situated in a place like Anjuna, a place where people and cultures of varied sorts amalgamate. Though Curlies might appear to be just a shack, it provides guests with a lot more facilities. The place is ideal for those looking at nothing more than a susegad (meaning relaxed) evening filled with trance or progressive music. Started by Edwin Nunez, the place is always buzzing with excitement. The place is situated very close to the beach which ends up drawing a large number of people to the restaurant. A fair amount of transport is available outside the restaurant to take you back to your residence or hotel. On some nights some talented musicians come and showcase their genre of music to entertain the crowd. The ambiance is friendly and lively no matter what time you go. Right outside the restaurant is a sculpture of the face of a woman with curly hair facing the beach. This is carved out of stone and is placed amidst a couple of laterite blocks.
